Breathing problems & HD

my daughter was diagnosed with HD at birth and she had surgery at 2 weeks old. everything seems to be going great now, however she seems to be breathing oddly. she takes deep breath and catch herself. just wondering if anyone else or their children have experianced this? the docter says her lungs sound clear but that was just using a stethascope. any info you all can send me will be greatly apreciated!

sorry sammy hasn’t had any breathing problems. she is doing well.

If you find anything out please post it. Because my son has the same thing and his lungs aways sound clear. I have had it checked about four times. His GI says maybe it’s just habit, I don’t think so. Even if he laughes hard he will sound like he can’t catch his breath, not like asthma but something deeper…
Truly,
Mary

My son does that as well. I’ve been fighting with chronic ear infections since his pull-through surgery, but I think that there is more to it. We just got a referal to an ENT, but that appointment isn’t for a month, but I’ll let you know what I find out.

Funny I would get this today…my daughter age 3 has had chronic ear infections this year also she saw a specialist and they are wanting to put tubes in in 2 weeks. So I find this interesting. How old is your child?? Boy or Girl?? Has everything pretty much been normal since your surgery??? Thanks for your info…
