Dercums, The Invisible, Insidious, progressive disease no one can see

I’m so sorry to hear about your loss. It is such a shame it takes something so awful to make people see the light.

Lisa,

I am so sorry to read about your sister-in-law! My deepest sympathy goes out
to you and your family.

Imoon sorry to hear of you and your familys loss, It is so sad, we do have to keep at the doctors until someone actually listens, keep going for second opinions if your not happy. Sometimes i believe it is easier said and done but we have to stay positive.

It is truly a sad time for you and your family, I just hope the pain heals quick.

Dr Herbst…She is great about writing back when she has time…Its her emails that have helped me get a diagnosis and start trying to treat the symptoms of this stuff…I had an accident when I was 5 and lost some of the hearing in one ear so the ringing was always there…Its alot louder now and although I have tried to ignore it it wears you out just doing that… I wanted to know if DD could make it worse so I wrote Dr H and I save every one of her emails to take to my Dr appts with me…I dont know if it was a good thing or not to have found out what I have…I am always tired out and I dread sweeping, walking and vacuuming…I have no one to help me so I have to eventually do it.Its just actually doing it that I hate so much due to the severe pain it causes…I have to rush thru the grocery store too because my back and hips will start hurting…I hate my life alot at times…
