I think that I still want to do my own site with a link to Dr. Herbst. I think this way there is more webpages out there on DD. Anyone here that can think of a good name, let me know. I want something catchy but also want it to be about dercums. Thanks!

we need a .com type of name. thanks though I think that would be too long.
Maybe it should be short and have the word DERCUM in it (to help even more in serach engines) Like “dercumsinfo.com” or “dercums.com”… oh I don’t know. I just think most website names are best if short and easy to remember. (Later you might make up business cards or flyers or something and would want a short easy name that sounds professional)

A lot of people find out about DD when they goggle “painful lumps”…maybe you could use that?A lot of people would not recognize the name Durcum’s…especially if they have not been diagnosed. Maybe we can find a way to get the pamphlet from SuRi when it is done and then we can make copies to give to our doctors along with the other stuff we give them? Maybe you could email it to us SuRi…I always use the article translated from Swedish and contact info for Dr. H. If she would input on your web site Christine…it would be a real boost! If you have the words “painful lipoma lumps” in your meta tags and on your page it will show up in search engines (and it may be even easier now to do that, the last time I made a website was years ago BUT I think the "crawlers’ for search engines can now read the page and it may not need to be in the code). I have no experience with CSS, I made websites back when it was only HTML code. I found Dercum’s sites when I googled “Painful Lipomas”. I think “now-a-days” the search engines can pick up any words on the page, but back when I did it you had to have meta tags in your code. Oh I don’t know, LOL, I should just shut up! I’ll search about this and post if I find anything worth passing on.
When I get around to making a pamplet thing, I will post it somehow on the web and let you all critique it. At the end of it I want to list all the best websites I know of for more information. My other PC has a pamplet template thing so it will be easy to make.
