you elusive b!@#h. why have you left me? did i not let your dreams dance merrily through my brain? did i not indulge your every whim- your deep yearning yawns, and your eye drooping dazes? where have you gone? did you spirit my sanity with you? will you return? can i coax you? i have a fluffy pillow, a nice warm bed, and satiny p.j.'s! come on… please? stop hiding from me. you know you want to join me- i’m great in bed! i am too tired for hide-and-seek, and too awake to find you. come out, come out wherever you are. sssllleeeeeeppp… … …
i like that and do i feel the same as you do. I try to get to bed early but seem to stay up til the wee hours of the night. Actually i cant usually sleep until 4 or 5 am everyday then sleep until probably 8 or 9 am. I know how difficult it is to try and sleep so i usually play online poker just to keep me from driving myself insane. I have tried to just lay down and close my eyes but my mind gets to wandering and it makes it worse so i have learned to accept that i cant sleep and just have to schedule my life around it.
Oh I hate that feeling! I wish I were a magic indian medicine man and I could do a little dance around your head that would bring not only restful sleep, but wonderful magical dreams as well.
You're in my heart.

I REALLY LOVE THAT>>>>>>>>>>>
Very Creative Nyteyes!
Just FYI to you fellow insomniacs, I have found chinese herbal tea works sometimes, and the thng that really knocks me out is fervent stretching and exercize dureing the day sometime to wear my muscles down a bit, then i am not so tense and wound up to stay awake at night.
sort of like your dog, runs around all day and then crashes! LOL! Boy what we can learn from animals!
Clover..over
That's a unique and creative way to express your loss and desire for sleep. I know this feeling all too well. I have a terrible case of insomnia that only gets worse with age. My hubby lies there so comfortably, snoring, dreaming and doesn't wake up all night long. Meanwhile, when I get tired of tossing and turning and my mind racing through a million little worries, I get up and get on the computer. It sux and no sleeping meds work for me. They make it worse and put me into a bad case of mania! The only thing that helps a little is Xanax which calms me. Sweet dreams if you can find some! :) <3
I feel just the same. I love to sleep, some days I could curl up on the pavement and sleep right there but after it has smothered me useless, it leaves. A thousand silly thoughts race round my head until one sticks and I know that sleep is not going to happen and I miss it so much.
Beautifully put nyteyes.
I do love the way that you worded that. I havent slept more then a few hours in 17 days and I have been keeping track in my sleepm log so if you finde somthing that works please pass it on.
Well, I take a .25 colonopam with my meds every night… I sleep like a baby…my hubby’s snoring use to keep me up, not any more…
I save the klonopin (I think it is the same as clonopam) .5mg for the day time. I use it when the innards start to get squirmy. (my PCP's description) When that starts, I get very anxious because I'm not IN a restroom. even if I don't need to go.
Another strange symptom/side effect, when I get a wave of fatigue in the afternoon, the klonopin will make it go away and I can function. I don't know how it works, (a little curious) don't care. As long as it works. When my oldest child was Dx with asthma 19 yrs ago, I told the Dr that I would dance around him with a voodoo doll, if that would help. Fortunately, he has outgrown it.
I don't need to know how it all works, IF it works...

That was a delightful way to describe what we all seem to experience. I use Ambien but not every night. But I discovered that I had a problem with it. I would get up, cook, clean bathrooms, get on the computer, whatever was on my mind. Only problem was, I was still asleep, and remembered nothing the next day. Of course, I once put dog bones in a casserole I was making, and got very angry with my husband when he tried to point out that we don't eat the dog bones, our dog does!
I used my ambien for when my pain was the worse, and even if I go off into la la land, I wasn't feeling any pain. So now, I only take it at night, and my husband doles them out, because I would also take a second or third, thinking that it was the first one. It's working out pretty good now.
I was wondering what colonopam is azsunlover. Is it a generic name for a sleeping pill like ambien, or is it ambien?
Oh why does it have to be so complicated. I almost hate people who fall asleep at the drop of a hat and sleep straight through the night. They dont know how blessed they are.

Ambien works good for me! they have regular and CR
You do have to be careful about what Debbie said though- it does affect some people that way. It didnt me though.
TIe your toe to the bed. lol
