Smiiillinnggg and noddingggggggg…
yes thats what I like lightning bugs
like listening to doves coo-ing every morning and enjoy watching bats snatch up the bugs at night under street light in my yard. enjoy listening to motorcycles ride down the rode brings out a nice sound.
One thing I definately do NOT like is misquitos, but boy do they like me! buzzzz buzzz buzzz BITE!
BON, IN GA THEY ARE BIG. THEY LOOK LIKE 747S DOWN HERE. ONE DAY I AM AFRAID TH EY WILL PICK MR DOODLES UP AND CARRY HIM AWAY!!
Oh Poor Mr. Doodles, you will have to get him special repellant to keep those monsters off him! He’s too sweet to be bitten! If that doesn’t work we will have to take up a collection to have your house covered with misquito netting with all kinds of toys on it so Mr. Doodles can play out in the yard without fear of being bit! They only like the sweet ones! It’s that Sunkist ya know that attracts them!
LOL NOT ONLY DO WE H AVE HUGE BUGS BUT WE ALSO HAVE FIRE ANTS. ALL OVER THE PLACE. I AM AFRAID TO LET HIM PLAY OUTSIDE. THEY CAN PACK A PUNCH WHEN THEY BITE. OUCH!
Sounds like the misquitos down in south Texas, so big you can saddle them and ride them like ponys. hahaha And Tree Roaches the same way just monster huge… but anyway we take our misquitos serious and have the Misquitos Day Parade. A whole day, kids out of school all day, floats, and food, it’s HUGE just like the bugs.
Oh I love the boats and more casual approach to life. The slower atmosphere, the easy laid back approach people get… AHHHHHH!
Oh River, that sounds like fun. I miss living in a small town atmosphere so much! Everything out here where i live in CA is rush, rush, rush. Big money, no one has time to stop and smell the roses, time for the little things. I look forward to the days in the future when I can retire (ha!) and move to a small community back east where life moves at a easier pace! Yes, I know small towns have thier drawbacks too, but I will take them over the traffic, smog, hustle and bustle, uncaring attitudes and money, money, money you find in the city!
A bug parade, what a wondeful idea!!!
BEST PART OF SUMMER IS LIVING NEAR THE OCEAN IN NJ. 2 BLOCKS FROM MY HOME WITH THE RESTAURANTS SITTING OVER THE WATER. ENJOYING THE MUSIC AND THE NICE BREAZE.
the best thing about summer
Bare Feet !
I WISH I COULD WALK IN BARE FEET BUT I CAN’T.
YOU WILL, HON, YOU WILL!
Dreen…Are you talking about the “skin so soft” that they sell from Avon?
Thank stuff is GREAT for misquitos! I have been using it for years when camping and things. It doesn’ t have that smell either like alot of bug repellents do!
Best thing about summer: air conditioning. (I can’t take the heat)
Yes, Avon Skin So Soft is the stuff that’s supposed to keep mosquitos away – if you don’t mind the smell (uck) and the fact it’s pretty much like soaking yourself in baby oil if you use it. If you don’t like feeling greasy, you won’t like it.
And WOW Dreen – another New Jerseyan. New Jerseyite? Garden Stater? As long as you’re not a Benny.
YES I AM. I THINK IT IS GREAT.
THE SMELL IS ACTUALLY GOOD. I LIKE IT.
Okay, what is a Benny?
WHAT IS A BENNY. I AM ORIGINALLY FROM NEW YORK SO HAVE NO CLUE WHAT A BENNY IS LOL.
YOU ARE GETTING THE WRONG STUFF LOL. THE ONE THEY HAVE OUT IS SO SO SO MUCH BETTER. I KNOW YEARS AGO IT WAS DIFFERENT BUT NOW ALL GOOD. TRUST ME . MY SON EVEN USES IT AND HE IS MR DON’T EVEN GO THERE LOL.
