Hey Checq,

Rock Band is a video game for the XBox 360 and Nintendo Wii video game
consoles.In the big package you recieve the game,and instruments that plug into
the console-guitar,drums and a microphone.You basically play along to different
songs and onscreen the notes and the words of the song are displayed.The
notes are color coded bars representing different buttons to press or drum to
hit.And for the lyrics,there are lines underneath each word in the song.All the
lyrics stream across the screen in a rectangular box.The higher the note,the
higher up in the box the word is.Lower,same thing.My oldest son,Rick,plays
the guitar.He also plays in reallife,he is learning through a music class in
high school.Music is his major.my youngest,Brian,plays drums.He wants a real
drumkit for Christmas(and Mom wants a HUGE bottle of Advil!!).I sing,not very
well,but I get by.The songs are classics from the late 60’s all the way up to
as recent as this year.Tonite we played ‘hooting Star’ by Bad Company.The
other night was ‘Spirit in the Sky’ by Norman Greenbaum.We usually play for
about 2 hours or so,and we can only play when my husband goes out-he can’t stand
anything loud::sigh::.we hit mainly alternative music and some songs from
the '80s.It’s a great bonding thing with the boys,and I get a lot of
frustration out by singing.

I am sick of people “sweating” me for thier expense and consulting checks of Fridays.

Geez, I do a good turnaround people, I get you your dang checks within a week, whadda ya want? We have this engineer (software) and he is a consultant, he has his checks sent to a po box so his wife wont know how much he makes (-1 point) and so he drives UP from San Diego to get the check when he isn’t working today and sweats me for it) so i take my time longer of course (it’s an hour and a half drive for him. Give me a break guy. His wife’s a dentist, he isn’t hurting. Ima thinking it’s for the mistress anyway, so I am not hurrying.

Today, maybe 'cuz it’s Friday, I’m sick of “morning zoo” radio…As I was driving to work today, I was so irritated by the honking noises and other sound effects and all the happy, happy banter and overload of the audio sense. Is Friday awesome? You bet. Do I need to be assaulted by sensory overload? Grumble

You know what is strange now that I see you talking about all the honking? People here in Hawaii don’t honk. Especially not in traffic-maybe that would explain why there are so many accidents. But, it is pretty nice. There is a concept of “driving with Aloha” which pretty much means be nice and don’t honk- people have the no honking thing down but I’ve learned that you better not use a blinker here because it tells the other guy to speed up so you can’t get over. crazy. hehe

Ok Checqs…call your provider and take out all your aggression on them and scream at them that they are interrupting you from joining your “aggression” group, tell them to get your internet connection fixed asap, and that if they don’t you don’t know how much longer you can keep your agression in check!

I agree with you about the wedding, i am doing one now too for my step-son, and it is going to have to be done “very creatively” on the money side (since they didn’t want to listen to my Vegas suggestion!!! Hey, they got all kinds of wedding places there, and I kinda took a liking to that Alien Chapel!)
