What made you smile today?

ALMOST anything my Christina says makes me smile. She’s my little girl, my angel, my sweetie, and she is so unique. Mark and I think we’ll keep her!

dr phil quotes were a real kick ! i could actually SEE him saying those, with that intense and thoughtful look on his face.

what to say about C&H - - it was so perfectly put together, with the images so perfectly matched to the song – Great song, by the way. Made me realize how much i miss reading C&H every weekend.

thanks so much everyone, this is fun reading.

peace,
c.

Still - seriously, go online and you can find Calvin and Hobbes for pretty cheap… we have almost every collection ever put out and, at one point, my husband found five or six books (probably on ebay) for $11!!! Those fools, to let go of their C&H books AT ALL, much less so cheaply!!!

This is fun too… if you liked the Dr. Phil one…

Those that have read me before know that I am a huge fan of counting blessings…so this goes along those same lines.

My son’s spirit and general outlook on life. He is blessed with balance ,wisdom, and strength, he's a brave young man and today he brought tears to my eyes.

He makes me laugh daily.

And , When my son jokingly states, You’re gonna get a kowabunga right in the ‘bahookie’ if you misbehave Mom.

So, friends…enjoy your award….you all make me smile.

Smiles Abound! :) Jade ~

What made me smile today was being able to write and post another poem in the poetry section, cause I love writing and enjoy reading poetry:)

What made me smile today was getting up, making Mark and Christina breakfast, answering her neverending questions, kissing my husband good-bye before he left for work, helping my adorable child get dressed for school and attempting to drive my new Escalade to drop my daughter off at pre-school and then driving to work and have everyone come out and be so happy that my old car was gone!!! Everyone was happy for me and it made me smile, too! Good day…

My grandson Sam, finished a puzzle today and looked up at me and smiled with a smile to die for. This put s big smile on my face.

Holding a newborn baby in my arms today  I don’t know what else to say… other than Rizzo rocks, I love this thread, and thank you all for responding and sharing your joy with me and everyone here  We all rule!

A patient asked me for a blanket today. I put one lengthwise on his body. I wrapped another one around his shoulders. He said, “You’re an Angel!” I smiled. Some of my friends have special ringers on my cell phone. I heard the ringer while I was driving and I knew my dear friend was calling me. I smiled. I am having a money issue and my friend and I was going back and forth about it. He kept interrupting so I told him to “get it all out.” When he paused, I asked if there was anything that he omitted before I began and he said, “YEAH! ONE MORE THING. I love you.” He diffused my irritation and… I smiled.

Now THAT was so sweet! I can only imagine how awesome that must have made you feel Olelady!

olelady, that made me smile…

Yeah. He melted my heart. He is my drug of choice. Sometimes I think divine intervention sent him my way. I adore him.

I woke up to my kids that makes me smile every day I love to be a mom!

My GI Dr. said I looked “marvelous” today during my appointment!!! That made me smile ~ The nurses liked my new very short hair! ~ I called my Mom and she was in a good mood !!! ~ Have heard from dear friends ~ Hey, I got my smile on, Big Time!

I got to spend some time today with someone who really needed me, and she said being with me really helped. I smiled to be able to help. My kids and husband make me  And friends

Aww, Yolanda, that was sooooo SWEET! aha!!!

My oldest son eating Apple Jacks in a curious fashion made me smile, as did my younger son reading his book by the pictures (because he’s too little to know all the words)

My sweet little girl bouncing around singing that today is her birthday and that god made it snow just for her.

The energy, the innocence, the exuberance and the smiles on the faces of my kindergarten class this morning as they piled in and said, “Good Morning, Ms. Lindy!”

The boys playing hide and seek with their friend today, and listening to them giggling made me smile and laugh
