I have been put on a 30 day heart monitor, where if you have an episode you record it… I think this thing sucks. I dont know how reliable it is. Has anyone had to have this before?

Yes Gina, I have been on both a Holter Monitor and an event monitor (what you have on now)…It is really reliable, your doc did the right thing. I know it is not fun but it is important. They need to figure out if you are going into an arrhythmia/irregular heart rhythm. Some are OK to live with others are not. I have very frequent PVC’s, skipped beats, they are very bothersome but considered normal because I am in a sinus rhythm. (normal heart rhythm) There are other rhythms that are treatable.
