I would like to talk to others who live with chronic pain and diabetes insipidus.
I have had depression episodes over the years, and am now going through some more of them, with anxiety. I live in Florida, and recently retired from 30 years of teaching, married, with two grown children who live in Denver.
I want to learn more of other people's experiences with depression and/or anxiety, their treatments, what has worked and what hasn't.
I'd like to connect with people about 40 to 80 years old.please help! i am severly depressed…

Hi! I’m Sue. I was dnx’d with Lupus and Mixed connective tissue disease… Its not went into organ involvement as of yet. I also have Fm,Oa,Neuropathy in my legs,hypothyroidism,HB…some minor disk problems in my back and neck. I am full of it…Pain that is! lol

I am interested in this condition because i have been diagnosed with it and would like to talk to other people who have it, especially any females.
I have had chronic pain for 8yrs now. I don’t know how to deal with it. I can no longer work or do the things I use t do.I am severly depressed as I don’t know what to do with my time all day. I get anxiety really bad.Family, friends, people don’t understant chronic pain. Like my doctor and former boss both told me since I look fine on the outside people are going to assume I’m fine sure some days are bette than others but still not good enough to do the things I use to. I can’t make plans since I don’t know how I will wake up feeling. I use to be happy, outgoing, very sociable. I use to have a lot of friends not any more. I desperatly need a group to talk to that is in the same situation. I have so much anger in me.

I’m interested in Polycythemia because I was diagnosed with the condition a couple of years ago.
I have regular check up’s at the Hammersmith Hospital UK.
Since my diagnosis I have now also been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, for which I take insulin 4 times a day,(cannot have the pills due to lactic acid production.)
I slipped into a hyperglycemic coma last December for a period of 8 days.I didn’t know I was diabetic and apparently I was probably ill for quite a few years with it.
Since being on insulin and attending regular blood tests it would appear that my Polycythemia is getting better and at the last check up the doc was so pleased he asked me to return in 6 months.
There’s always a light at the end of the tunnel.

My name is Heather. I am 24 years old, married with two young children. In October of 2006 I started having really bad pain when I would sit down and or go to stand. The pain did not leave after a few months so I went to see my primary care doctor. My doctor first ordered an ex ray which showed nothing. An MRI followed showing no cause that should cause pain in the low back however it did show a right ovarian cyst. Of to the OBGYN I went, she ordered a CA-125 blood test that I took on day 14 of my cycle that came back slightly elevated at 37.3 then an ultrasound that showed a 4.5cm cyst with subcentemeter cysts growing on it. Now I have to go the June 21st for a follow up ultrasound and another CA-125 test. Lets see what happens, until then I am left worrying about what will happen sense my mother has Ovarian cancer when she was just one year older then what I am now, also this low back pain keeps getting worse as days pass into weeks, it will not give up or go away. I hope to find others who can be a support as I go thru this as well as to learn, if it is cancer I plan to kick it’s but if not then I hope to be a support for others who do have this type of cancer as we all need friends.
