Big hugs

I just want to thank everyone for the words of sympathy and encouragement, and all the hugs I received. I phoned in sick at work today as the pain in my neck and shoulder was unbearable. I have had a bit more energy and i found my lumps not as painful, maybe all the painkillers i was doped up on.
I am feeling good today!!!

Thanks

Hugs back to you sweetie, Hugs are such a great part of life, one of my favorite things in the world, even through the computer. It’s a good feeling that someone cares about you and understands what you are going through. I have found a great deal of comfort in this website. I am with you!!! Thanks you all of you for your support, love and understanding…
Brennie

You are a very sweet girl and an asset to the group. We are glad to share hugs with you! More Hugs : )

Brennie, this is a lil confusing, I can’t tell if it is to me or to someone else in the group. I wanted to know if you had a chance to look into the Wii bowling. I bowled with a gf today, it was fun. I have a “pro” rating. HAAAAAA.

How you doing ? I am a wreck, see an ENT tomorrow, then next week I see a dermatologist, and then I see my own doc.

I have my lil book of all my symptoms printed out for the doc. But I hate seeing new ones. The good thing is that hubby always goes with me. Sometimes thats a help and sometimes it isnt!!

I am not sure how to approach the drs. Do I go in letting them know I have been diagnosed with this disease and go from there ? Or do I just list all my symptoms and see what they come up with before giving them my packet.

Let me know what you think.

More and More HUGS HUGS HUGS wish they could be real.Talk soon

Calle,

I think you need to tell them your diagnosis! They may never have even heard of DD. Take info on that too.

Pamela

Calle, I just started giving handouts to my doctors. I printed up the great article translated from Swedish and some from The DD Society and one with Dr. Herbst’s contact info. I also printed out Dr. Herbst’s questionaire and gave it to my rheumatologist. So far, the response has been good. My ENT seemed really interested and he had an intern with him so I got 2 bangs for the buck!
Go ahead…they think we are crazy anyway! It was easy after the first time…like most things! Good Luck…Grandma Sylvia

Georgie…so sorry you are in so much pain. My neck has also been very bad. Have you tried having your husband do a light neck massage? It really hurts but feels a little better the next day. I am on a muscle relaxant and hope that you are. Gentle Hugs
