Here’s something from the Bible my N sister taught me as my sunday school teacher:
Do unto others as you would have done on to you.
I’ve maintained that belief while she abandoned the Golden Rule and taught her children to tell me how much I suck.

Another Bible passage I believe could apply to N’s:
“There are people whose shame is their pride.”
I think we could all think of someone that would apply to.
/the shame is their pride…its false pride though isnt it.
another good one is’lord forgive them because they know not what they do"back to the forgiveness issue.( i think someone has already posted this one)so ill leave this one…“to thyself be true”
Here’s another good book:
Boundaries in Dating by Dr Henry Cloud and Dr John Townsend.
I am currently reading this book. What an eye opener!!!
(posted again here for future searches on helpful books)
“Women Who Love Psychopaths” by Sandra L Brown
I’ve read it twice now in 3 days. Its blown wide open what my life, and my SELF had been experiencing the last 9 years.
It makes sense of not just my exN/S, but ME. Why he chose me, why I resisted at first, why I surrendered, why I stayed, why I fought, how I became confused, and full of self-doubt, what about me made it all worse, how I was injured deeply…the whole thing. All the questions I’ve been asking of therapists, and all the answers I got that didnt ever feel like they fit – thats all been taken care of by this book, based on their research of 75 former partners of N/S’s.
it’s a Godsend.
