Hello, I am a 36 yr old female diagnose with celiac disease 2 yrs agoafter the birth of my son. Never had any problems until after childbirth. They say sometimes celiac disease is activated by this.
Hay there. I am gong through the forum getting back to all the folks who have posted that I may be able to help. Everyone has been so kind as to answer my post that it is only right. Anyway, yes, this is totally normal. One of the reasons this disease is considered so rare in this country is that only rarely is a child symptomatic. Most cases are diagnosed in adults who have had some other major, recent health issue like stroke, heart attack or pregnancy. Get back if you think I may be of more help.
