The University of SA is having trouble finding CFSers in South Australia for the study they are doing on CFS and carnitine levels in the blood. They’ve advertised twice now at the ME/CFS Societies (SA) site http://sacfs.asn.au/news/2007/02_08_carnitine_study.htm but only 10 CFSers have joined up to participate.
So if there is any CFSers here from SA who see this message… please consider participating in this study. I’d hate to hear about a proper CFS study being dumped just cause they cant get participants. It just involves giving some details about the CFS to the researches and getting ones doctor to do a blood test for it for them. (and pays one $20 for time and inconvience)
Some of the best CFS research so far has come from Australia… so keep it up guys!!
