Chronic backpain

i’m wondering if there is someone with a similar problem…? 11 months ago, my lower back started hurting so badly. as i’d had the occassional backpain before i was sure it would go away. but it didn’t. the docs said it’s because of the weight of your chest. but i wasn’t x rayed or sent to a back specialist. ( i should be able to get this service free on the disability but they never took me seriously enough ). i had an appointment over the telephone(!) with a physiotherapist who had a long list of questions. remember she couldn’t SEE me just had to find a way to what was wrong with me via these questions…in the end she sent me a sheet of paper with exercises and one of those large rubber bands. i was in so much pain i did not bother with it. they then sent me a letter saying if we don’t hear from you we will assume you are better. BIG JOKE! anyway, the weeks and months go by, so by the summer time my fiance is wheeling me about in a wheelchair when we do food shopping. i am doing very little physically. i have a good man and we get on great so spending time together just at home is ok…watching dvds, sewing…like an old married couple, lol. but the chronic pain was horrendous. in the end my parents say we will pay for you to see our physio. so off i go. she looked at my body and said ONE LEG IS SHORTER. she pulled that leg a few times and told me to do some pelvic exercises to strengthen my posture that way as i had been walking about with bent knees. i’m feeling a lot better! can walk more, still painful though. i go back in 2 weeks and she said i was improving my posture, straighter legs but my back is too stiff and should be flexible…so we worked on that with exercises. i came away with more exercieses. i’m feeling 70 % better by then! the chronic pain is almost gone! just some lighting strikes pain. then 3 weeks later she did a lot of deep muscle massage and i have been in a lot of pain since. too afraid to phone. but i know i will eventually. the whole left leg is very sore, from the sole of the foot to the groin, the left hip, the lower back, the backside. i am just wondering if anyone else here has experienced anything similar? i would very much like to hear from you : ) note ~ i’ve left out the appointment with the plastic surgeon for the breast reduction because he said the docs should have made me see a back specialist first. that op has been postponed.
