I have sleep apnea, and I use a bi-pap.

I am a 32 tear old mechanic of 12 years who crushed my left leg in a wreck, severe calcaneal fractures which came with a plate and 9 screws, broken ankle in a few places which came with a couple pins and a couple of short rods along the top of my “foot”, If that’s what you want to call it now. That also comes with a lotta pain. I am a river rat from southern Ohio looking for any info on what kinda bright future I may have with this.

always looking to share support and issues

I was very ill in my teens with an, as then unknown, rare “one off” condition and had a kidney removed as it had died. THen in 2004 I very nearly lost my remaining kidney which was 90% narrowed and tangled arterial distortions as well. It was then that I was diagnosed with FMD and then I was told that in 1973 it had been FMD as well but undiagnosed then. This was only diagnosed restrospectively in 2004.

I’m here from the yahoogroup

I have had 9 back surgeries and have DDD, spinal stenosis, spinal instabilit, joint facet syndrome, and I have a medicine pump in my stomach and I am still in pain 24/7. I am young to have all this they say I’m like an 80 years olds back. It started 5 years ago very bad but has been bothering me since I was 18. No on understands how you feel at all. No matter how much they think they do, until they have walked in my shoes they can’t imagine. It has taken my life from me. I have two girls 7 and 10 and have been with my high school sweetheart, he is amazing but sooooooo tired of hearing me day in and day out. Well that’s enough for now for you to understand my condition. Would love to talk to people who understand. I am ony 35 so it started at 29, My name is Tish

I am intersted in this group simply because I am a 1 year IBC survivor. It is my hope that my story will help comfort others who been newly diagnosed as well as others who finished all their treaments.

Hi yamaj2

I am glad you sent me a message. I had a knee replacement in 2006. Please make
sure you research the artificial knees available< i didn’t and I wish I had.
DePuy has these knees that can rotate and if I have to have this redone that
is the one I want to be put in my leg. Look it up in your computer. They will
also give you a list of Dr’s in your area that use their knees.

Good luck,
becca

I have terrible pain in back and legs. Have had spinal stenosis and DDD for 12 years now. I have tried so many treatments, but nothing has helped. I am getting worse every day. I would like to hear from others that have this, and what they do for pain.

im 41 yrs old…ive been very depressed lately…would like to learn more about depression

I’ve been diagnosed with OA, including cervical spinal stenosis. I just want to keep up to date on this and see what others are doing to deal with it on a daily basis

help! i’m depressed!

Just know that you are not alone in feeling the way you do. I’m always
angry and spend 90% of the time in bed. I’m tired of being sick and
tired but mostly, I’m tired of the pain. My doctor is sending me for
counseling.

I just wanna know what exactly will a counselor do, take away my pain?
No, I don’t think so, so what’s the use in going and talking about
something I live with and can’t get rid of. They’ll probably try and
give me more pills to accompany the others!

I’m tired.
