Hi, For the last 5 months now i have suffering from Fatigue, low blood pressure, dizzy on standing weight loss and general lethargy. I also feel very full and nauseus after eating only small amounts. I have Hashimotos thyroiditis and doc thought my medication was too high (thyroxine) and reduced it. However my symptoms are progressivly getting worse and thyroid was ruled out. Next doc sent me for a EKG because of palpitations and fast heart rate. Waiting for results and will see doc next week. Opon reading about addisons i have read many symptoms very similar to my own and wondered if anyone could share thier stories with me.
IT VERY WELL SOUNDS LIKE YOU MAY HAVE ADDISON’S.I WAS DIAGNOSED IN
2007. I WAS JUST HOSPITALIZED FOR 3 DAYS WITH A CRISIS. IT ALL STARTED
WITH THE FLU IN DEC. I HAVE BEEN TAKING MASSIVE DOSES OF STEROIDS EVER
SINCE. THESE ARE ABOUT TO DRIVE ME CRAZY. I AM NAUSEATED ALL THE TIME.
I AM DIZZY AND JUST SO TIRED!!! I FEEL LIKE MY HEART IS ABOUT TO JUMP
OUT OF MY CHEST. MY DOC IS RESEARCHING A NEW STEROID THAT MAY NOT BE
AS HARMFUL TO HY BODY. I PRAY THAT IT WILL BE THE ANSWER.
GOOD LUCK!!!
Thistle,
everything you said sounds like me one year ago. Mine started out as a sinus infection, it layed me up for a week, that was right before Christmas 2007. By April of 2008 I was down 40 pounds and looked 15 years older my whole family thought i was dying, so did I. You need to tell your dr of your research its a life a death situation.
