Dercum's and IBS

OK we all have swollen limbs and bruises all over the place. Do you all have irritable bowel? I am so weak today from it I can hardly sit here and type. It rules my life! I miss appointments as I can’s leave the house. I am always sick. I don’t see how my blood sugar is so high when everything I eat makes me so sick!

I have IBD…been bad when I go to a store and HAVRE to run to restroom…Worst was when I went to a WalMart and they were remodeling the laduies room at front of store and had to literally run to back of the store…

It comes and goes for me. It’s gotten better for me overall.

I too have IBS, once I was misdiagnosed with Chron’s disease. I was on meds for Chron’s for 4 years until I developed a lipoma in my throat and went to a GI guy after the ENT specialist. Anyway the GI doc said I didn’t have Chron’s but I have a slow digestive system and cramp a lot, until my internist subscribed mirlax. Oh what a wonderful thing it is!

Try it, hugs,
Linda

I have had IBS since early childhood. It is miserable.

I have had it off and on all my life, it got really bad after Zachary was born, I had chronic diarrhea for more than a year. Went to the doctor actually several. I believe that is when my DD really got started. But after tons of tests all the docs said was you have IBS there is no cure and it “should” go away after menopause. What a jerk! I did have a hysterectomy a few years ago and I still have it.

Its miserable to the point sometimes I can’t go in to work and I have been in Wal_mart too and the restroom is on the other side of the store. The only thing that really helps me is taking enzymes when I eat, and acidopholis as needed. But I also go from one extreme to the other with diarrhea then I am constipated and even more miserable. Can’t seem to catch a break in this area. So you are definitely not alone sweetie!

God Bless,
Brennie
