Doctors familiar with Cryo in the Houston/Cypress/Tomball Texas Area?

Hi All,

I’m looking for a Dr in my area that is familiar with Cryo. I live in the Houston/Tomball/Cypress Texas area. Can anyone point me to a good a Doc?

I’m not even sure what the best type of Dr is to see about Cryo.

I tried to post this question on the Yahoo group forum twice but my message was never posted. Is that site still active?

Hi, You will need to phone around a bit first. Perhaps try looking for a
hematologist. But make sure you speak to them on the phone first before you
go (ie no $) and make sure that they have actually treated cryo patients and
not just read about it at med school (or on Google). Don’t bother with a
dipstick Dr Know-it-all you will waste time. Cheers, A

The best type of doctor to see about cryo is one who is experienced in treating it. Rheumatologists are trained to diagnose and treat cryoglobulinemia, so you might want to start there.
