Does a feeding tube mean that a child will never taste food?
I’ll be in Hawaii for three weeks. I’ll get back to you after July 6th. Aloha!

Hi,
Someone with a g-tube can still taste food.

Re: Feeding Tubes and Taste
Having a feeding tube doesn’t necessarily mean you have to give up tasting food. I have a G-Tube and I use it for the majority of my nutritional needs and for med but, I can still eat. I usually eat something just for the taste of it but, I don’t have to wear myself out anymore. So, getting a feeding tube is not the end of the world. For me, it is a blessing to have the G-Tube because I have freedom not to have to struggle to eat. Hope this helps. GOD Bless!
