Finding a good endocrinologist

I understand that there’s an endocrinologist in Cleveland who specializes in pseudohypoparathyroidism.

Does anyone know who this person is?
Any other info?

Also - does anyone know of anyone good in the DALLAS, TX area?

Thanks,
Margaret

PS - I had the hardest time finding out how to do this. I hope this is a post. It’s being called a “conversation” here. I hope it goes out.

Margaret:
I am reading a book called "what your Dr may not tell you about hypothyroidism. In it it gives food that effect the thyroid and if my memory is correct it has a list of endocrinologist but I spoke with my friend from Texas and she says the endo’s at CMC in Dallas are really good. Also Dr Levine and Dr Germain-Lee may be able to give you a reference. Dr Levine gave me one when I was pregnant with Flora.

Hi, Denise,
Thanks for this. I got ahold of Dr. Levine, & he’s
willing to see me & then work with a “normal” endo
down here. I’ve been at CMC in Dallas with 1 endo
(when I asked her for someone I could actually see
easier - she referred me to a colleage farther away -
not at CMC.

Dr. Levine said he knew of no endo to recommend in
Dallas area.

Should I ask the other Dr. you mentioned?

What foods should people avoid? Does thyroid issues
implicate someone with PHPT??

Thanks,
Margaret
