My Dad is in his 6th week of radiation. He doesn’t like any food anymore and doesn’t eat much.I need ideas. He doesn’t like milk, flour, vegetables, meat,and has a really dry mouth. It’s hard for him to swallow much of anything.He has been living on baked potato, and boiled eggs, a few bites at a meal.
my dad did not have radiation - only the surgery. he caught his very early.

My husband just completed 30 radiation treatments (6 weeks) and he too lost his appetite. But, he knew that he HAD to eat something. He snacked a lot and ate high calorie foods … even ice cream. When he had a taste for anything we would make it or go get it or make a fast food run.
I hope he does better soon with his eating.
