I have 3 children with fragile x 2 boys 16 and 19 and a girl 8. I am finding it really hard to cope with my daughters behaviour she has always been like this, her temper is uncontrolable she hits out at the lads for no reason even me her mother. Has anyone got any advice?
Have you ever tried social stories?? You draw simple pictures of what is happening and then end the story with what is appropriate and should happen. Read it often (may take months) and that might help. I did one for my son’s biting and it worked. He is almost 8 and has bitten anyone since he was 4 1/2.
You can look up “social stories” online and see what ideas you can find. It’s worth a try
