I was doing some reading on Crazy Meds (http://www.crazymeds.us/) and stumbled upon the links below. These are a couple of places where you may be able to find some help in paying for your meds:
ONLY for those who have Medicare Part A and/or Medicare Part B – ssa.gov/prescriptionhelp/
I don’t know the requirements: most assistance has some kind of income limits, and probably different limits; I can’t guarantee anything; I’m just passing on information.
Also, a lot of the drug companies offer some assistance to help patients defray at least part of the cost of meds. rxhelp and needymeds both provide links to most of the company plans. However, company offers do change. If don’t find what you need on rxhelp or needymeds, try the companys’ sites directly.
FYI – You’ll probably see the acronym PAP. It stands for Patient Assistance Program.
