reason for not wanting to send on to Kindergarden is she does not retain info…should we hold her back?
Have you had her tested to find out why she’s not retaining? With DWS, from my experience, you need to have an accurate diagnosis on what is going on developmentally. And then you need to get a second opinion.
Our state requires Kindergarden readiness checks. If yours does, this could be the first step in finding out where she is at. It could also lead to different avenues of testing that you may not have to pay for and begin to involve an agency.
