How do you cope?
Where do you get the strenght to keep on going where everything else fails? What do we need to try to destroy or keep under control this monster where everything else does not seem to work?
what i “see”, is that you’re talking about a CONTROL THING!!!
this “thing” called OCD… CHANGES… on a DAY BY DAY basis… and AS WE GET OLDER… it’ll ONLY GET WORSE… TRUST ME… i’m 58 years old… and have BEEN DEALING WITH THIS “THING” since i was SIX YEARS OLD!!!
so today… what WORKS FOR ME… is SOME DAYS… the OCD wins… and SOME DAYS… it LETS ME WIN!!!
and… i’ve HAD TO “BECOME ACCEPTING” of that!!!
once you ACCEPT THAT… there’ll be LESS STRESS around YOUR OCD… and, it’ll “SEEM LIKE IT’S BETTER”!!!
NOTE: OCD is STRESS RESPONSIVE!!! the MORE WORRY, the MORE STRESS… the MORE STRESS… the MORE OCD… and, the LESS CONTROL you have, over YOUR OCD BEHAVIORS!!!
Good Luck,
