i am wondering whether the fact i have never been able to conceive is due to having depression? anyone have any thought on this?

Hey! I hope you are doing good. I am also an infertile woman. I was TTC for 10 years. Infertility can lead to depression but I do not think that depression can be the cause of infertility. Infertility can be very dreadful. You build so much expectation. Spend so much of time TTC. and when all fails, your break mentally and emotionally. I had cancerous polyps so had to get my uterus removed. I was declared infertile then. I was ready to stop living. I did not want to have a life without kids. But now I am opting for surrogacy at a clinic in Eastern Europe. So glad to have such options available.
Hey. I hope you are well. I do think there is a connection. Sometimes people can’t conceive because of stress. it’s proven. And not being able to conceive just adds to it. I think you should take a break. Get therapy for your depression. I hope you get better.
