I was wondering if anyone else if having to fight with their insurance company to get them to cover the cost of durable medical equipment (dme). My son has recently been prescribed leg braces, a sit/stand chair and a machine called “the vest”. All of these pieces of equipment have been determined to be “medically necessary” but the insurance company (anthem blue cross and shield) won’t pay for them. Anyone have any suggestions?
