My name here is Phoenix and I am a recovering alcoholic DOS 2/11/89. Very new to Careplace, but I like it. Once here, I began to join all applicable support groups for me and…OMG!!!—way too many to handle them all !! LOL Then I realized what it was I wanted and needed to do here to help myself and perhaps others-- so I created a group called The Recovery Corner-- it is intended to be like a generic springboard – a focused 12 step study/discussion group for anyone able to fill in their “blank”, and willing to follow and apply the original AA format of recovery on their issue. There IS a reason that there are so many successful varieties of self help groups that model themselves just this way. It works!
It’s been difficult trying to extend invites one at a time, so I guess I’ll try it this way. I hope you stop by!
