Just wondering

Our son was diagnosed with Dandy Walker as a newborn but then at one year they told us that the 4th ventricle had miraculously cured itself! We hadn’t thought a lot more about it until now while we are still trying to figure out why our son struggles with various things at 8.5 years of age. Does anyone have any idea if he would still be affected by misc. symptoms despite the ventricle reforming itself? He has low muscle tone, speech issues, aches & pains, anxiety/frustration, sensory issues, developmental delays etc. but is of average or slightly above average intelligence.

Have you talked to your pediatritian about this? My son has alot of the same issues. The same eating issues, motor skill delays, he has Dandy Walker variant, and his last MRI came out looking better then the first two. But his neuroligist wants to still keep him under observation.
