Hello,
My husband has metastatic melanoma currently in remission. We moved to a rural Illnois town Kansas. We are near the Indiana border about 2 hours from Indianapolis ,3 hours from the Chicago area and 21/2 hours from St. Louis, MO. We are wanting to find a good treatment center in the event the melanoma returns. He is going to see a local oncologist being that we are just in the testing follow up stage. But, his dermatologist recommended we see a melanoma center maybe in the Springfield, IL area. Does anyone know anything about Springfield or any other good treatment center near us? Doctor recommendations would be greatly appreciated also.
Thank you, karen
I’m sorry I do not but I do pray things stay good for you all as they have me for the last 13 years and 8 months. I had melanoma twice in differnt areas and I am still here yeah

Karen,
I know of good oncologists in Chicago and the St. Louis area. Are you
looking for something closer? Also, check www.melanomainternational.org for
a listing of cancer centers.

My company has a facility in Springfield so I will try to give them
