I have lumps on my face…Actually around my eyes and nose…Does anyone else have this problem?? Also part of my face has gone numb(or at least I cant feel anything)…I thought I had a mini stroke or something but now I think its because of the dang lumps…Does anyone have this also??? My husband thinks Im just being a hypochondriac…Im just getting more and more problems and dealing with all of this is driving me crazy…Especially now when its below freezing outside and I cant bundle up for sweating like crazy and every little bump not covered up is painful…
I have a few lumps on my face too. There are several on my chin and one on each side of my nose below where my glasses rest. My face is not numb, but a large area on one of my legs is. No doubt a tumor is pressing on a nerve. It is called neuropothy.
what a mess DD has left me of my life…Im still trying to cope too…I had hoped that the lumps on the face were my imagination but no…they are there…I can even see and feel them now…tiny…but there just the same…like the ones in my hands…Jan 25th is my nerve conduction test…I know what its gonna say but the Dr wants to remove any that are pressing on nerves…anyone ever get that done?? Did they grow back?? Did it help relieve the numbness?? I am not sure I want to do all the surgeries they are talking about…especially around my eyes…
I don’t have any on my face yet, on my head yes. I had surgery after nerve test in arms to remove lipomas and all grew back and brought buddies after about 5 months. My hands now are so bad sometimes I can’t feed myself because of the numbness and pain. Think real hard about having them removed as you know once they do their growing thing the pain subsides, but at least most of the nerves in the area are not affected. When you have them removed it does cause more nerve damage. I have had 4 surgeries in my arms around my elbows and now they are constantly numb.
Good luck Hugs to you.
your friend,
Linda
Hi everyone,
I haven’t posted anything for months now. i have been recuperating from my back surgery. i do have these luscious lovelys on my face and head. one on my left cheek, one over my right eye (following my sinuses) and the most recent one blossomed on my right jaw. sometimes i feel numbness and tingling, and sometimes pain in those areas. but, what do ya do? hmmm, lets see, surgery will just make them spread. they are big enough right now, so i don’t want to do anything that will make them worse. and the only viable option is to just let them be, and put a little more strategically placed make up on, turn down the lights at work, and hope for the best. i still have been unable to locate a doc in my area who knows about these things. my advocate from the insurance company has been helping me in my search since August. i am hopeful that she will find someone to help.

I hope you find a Dr too…My Dr is just guessing at what he should do…I go the 25th for nerve conduvction test and then they will decide if they should remove any…I am not looking forward to it…hugs…
