Does anyone know of any sort of documentations or movies about Cushings Disease/Syndrome? If you do could you please let me know of any.
Mystery Diagnosis (Discovery Health Channel) did an episode that featured Cushing’s Disease. Also, there have been 2 episodes of House (Fox) that have been centered around patients with Cushing’s. In the first season, there is a young girl with a pituitary tumor. In the second season, a woman (Cynthia Nixon), who has Munchhuesen’s (sp?) injects herself with ACTH to appear Cushinoid.
That’s all I’ve come across so far, but I’d love to see more about it.
