yes, it is Guillian-Barre paralysis or syndrome or something. the ‘Barre’ part is pronounced ‘bar-ray’. my hands are weak right now or i’d love to explain it, but you can find it by googling it.

have you had a chance to look up guillian barre? usually it occurs after an illness (flu?), pretty rare. it is a paralysis that always goes from feet up to face. gets the lungs involved and the person has to be on a breathing machine until it goes from face on back down again and is gone.
sometimes it can just be a chronic thing with weakness, etc, no reason, nobody knows what causes it.
pronounced gee-yehn’ bah-ray’ . the ‘g’ is a hard ‘g’ , not like gee whiz, but more like garb.
