my husband has achalasia he had surgery in december last year. it has work really well. but there are many steps you have to take before it gets to that point. have you tried sleeping at a 45degree angle. or egd with a balloon, he even had botonix. the best places for testing and help was Cleveland clinic in Cleveland Ohio and UT southwester hospital in Dallas Texas.
my husband surgery was done by the new robotic method,but it took over two years to get surgery point.
