This sucks so bad. My doctor has shut down his practice. And now I can’t find a doctor that perscribes pain medication on a monthly basis. All the doctors around here are getting so scared to perscribe pain medicine so now I can get my medication? How is this fair to me? I have my medical records and MRI reports, so why was I resorted to tears today when my doctor accused me of procrasticating when I called trying to see If I could see the nurse practitioner one more time because I was having a hard time finding a doctor. I had to explain myself several times to the ditzy receptionist but of course I still cry when I hang up. :o \ I am really starting to get irritated with this whole situation, what can be done about this? Anything?
I’m so sorry you have to go through this…hopefully you have insurance…I’d look up a pain management specialist in your insurance network…or, you could always go to the ER to get the meds…warning: they will treat you like a drug seeker…but you could get something for the pain and ask for a referral from them for long term pain managemet.
