There are probably more books that would be interesting to read. Any other books worth checking out???

Look Me In The Eye * It is written by John Elder Robinson. He is the
brother of August Boroughs who wrote * Running with Scissors *. It is out
in hardcover, right now.
Born on A Blue Day * It is written by Daniel Tammet. He can visualize
numbers as shapes and colors. I have just
started to read this book, myself.

The Speed of Dark by Elizabeth Moon. This is a novel about a man with Asperger’s or other high-functioning autism, working among other Aspies & autists, in a near-future where the issue of a possible cure, with all its positive and negative ramifications, comes to the fore. Extremely well-written by the mother of a son with autism. She’s written a number of SF novels, though this is the only one of her books I’ve read so far. Well-drawn characters, and a plot that really grabs the reader. Thought-provoking.
I see there are a number of new books available about autism. I might check out the Soul of Autism by William Stillman
