Just seems to me that pancreatic cancer is more common than I had thought,up until my mother was diagnosed,I had not heard of it,also she does not fit any of the usual profile of those who are afflicted by it,those that you read from cancer society, what is even more frightening,is it is said it is a silent cancer, but my mom has signs, symptoms for months, and yet her family dr failed to diagnose her or screen her for it,seems more could be done, and less people would get diagnosed at such a critical or latent point, any one elses thoughts welcome!!
Hi,my mom had pain in her ribcage area for months, worked with it,dr looked everywhere ,but her gallbladder wasnt checked or liver, kidneys, pancreas,it wasnt til she was stage 4 and a tumor 4cm,did she get diagnosed…
What were your mother’s symptoms? My father didn’t have any symptoms except severe pain.
