In Feb 2007 I went for CT scan at hospital ordered by my doctor for severe stomach pain. I was told immediately that “Something is wrong with your pancreas”. Well, long story short they removed a third of my pancreas and spleen.
Then shortly after surgery my stomach ruptured. I lived after 3 long months in the hospital. I am still having pancreatic pain and go for my next CT scan on Tuesday July 29th. I have asked so many doctors if I’m going to die and they hesitate for long periods of time then say “I don’t think so”. I have so little information about my pancreas, it’s not a very studied organ. I think if more individuals had this problem the majority of those in pain would cry out as loudly as heart disease patients. Any ifo would be greatly appreciated by all.
