I have read that surgery is recommended when a lesion is about 2 cm in the small intestine.
I would like to hear what you know about this?
Sincerely,
Sanne from Copenhagen, Denmark

Hello Sanne,
as I have heared and red this is a very controversial area when to operate. Some say 1 cm and more, the others 2 cm and more, some say 3 cm and more. Some say never to operate except it is an insulinome or another hormoneactive tumour which makes symptoms due to hormonal overproduction like glucagonoma etc.
Good luck

Hi Sanne,
You are correct, from what I have told there is an increased risk the growths will turn cancerous onece they have passed the 2 cm mark in size.
