My support group has a pharmicutical rep scheduled to come once a month to discuss different " stuff" the first meeting was about HIV and Hep c. Sadly for those that are already going through some sort of treatment for which ever , the information really was nothing of any use. And of course the questions we had he was unable to give answers to , only a dr could . For me personally , I got nothing out of it. I probably had more info than he did just by experience .
I went to a support group of 3 and I knew more than the facilitator. It was 2 hours of gossip and stories of whose got the worse case. Not a bit interested.
