Hi All, My name is Liz I’m from Brisbane Australia. I have AS as does my soon to be 4 year old daughter and my son who turns one this week.
I must say that strangers do stop me to tell me how cute my kids are. I think there must be a cute thing linked to AS.
Our major issue has been my sons feet. We are using the Ponsetti technique. Has anyone heard of this or tried this? It has a really high sucess rate for inturned or club feet. My son 's legs were plastered within a couple of hours of being born then at 10 weeks he had a small op to lengthen his archillies tendons. He came out of plaster at 14 weeks and has been in boots ever since. He is now wearing them less and less as he moves more. My sister is going to join the group as well. She has a 13 year old son with AS. He also has major feet trouble which they are currently looking into.
