Allyson is having a suction biopsy, colonoscopy, and endoscopy done Monday. Because she’s having the colonoscopy done we have to do the bowel cleaning using magnesium citrate and Miralax tomorrow. If she has HD will she actually be able to pass all of the poop that needs to be out prior to the procedure? How long should I give the magnesium citrate to kick in before worrying about another blockage or some other problem that requires a trip to the ER?
TIA for any and all info and help. I’m really nervous about doing the bowel cleansing tomorrow because I’m afraid she won’t actually poop and I’m nervous about Monday to the point of being sick. That seems like so many procedures for a baby who isn’t even 3 months old to go through!
