Something that i read today

"one study of holocaust survivors sited in terrence des presses book the survivour, points out"the magnificent ability of human beings to rebuild shattered lives, careers and families, even when they wrestle with the bitterest of memories,"Anton antovoski, after studying concentration camp survivors, writes,“a none inconsiderable number of concentration camp survivors, were found to be well adapted…what has given these people the capacity not only to function well, but even to be happy?Similar conclusions have been made about hostages.Re-experiencing our painful memories does not seem to get us anywhere except to a place with more pain.”

any comments.?

You’re probably right about putting the past behind us for good.

Reviewing all the painful events of the past I’m finding the same stomach ailments are coming back as well. The not eating, ulcer type symptoms.

Maybe ignorance is bliss.

The prisoners must have had a lot of faith and the belief something good was waiting for them when they got out.

yes,you are right HOPE springs eternal as they say…its all we need a little bit of hope for the future.
