Thanks for posting this article, I actually have a copy of it from when I first started looking up DD info. It is one of the best and easiest to undertand, its the one I used to show my husband. He read it but didn’t say much for a long time. I think after reading it, he finally got the point, but it scared him. Now he refuses to talk about it.
I also have taken it to my Nurse Practitioner, she was so excited I had a good article to include in her paperwork. She is so awesome.

I had seen it before when I first started looking online, but I read it again.
I think I might print it out for my husband… I have printed out many things for doctors but my husband has showed no interest in reading any of it. All he knows is what I tell him and I never shut up about it. I know he is sick and tired of hearing about it, but he just keeps on listening. He is such a good man. One day I apologized to him for constantly talking about my pain and DD and he hugged me and said “That is what husbands are for” (I think that was sweet of him to say since I know darn well he is sick of hearing about it! LOL!)
Thank God for our close ones.

Brennie you are lucky to have a good Nurse Practioner…When my Dr left he did not leave another Dr but a Nurse Practioner and she said to me what do you want me to do…without insurance we only do the basics…

We should be able to choose our “family”. I have built a loving immediate family and distanced myself from the family I was unfortunately born into. You can have the family you want if you are determined to break the cycle and find peace and love. The fine women (and now one man) I have met on this site have also enriched my life. The internet is a great thing. I would never have met others with DD who understand me the way you, my friends do. Hugs, Grandma Sylvia

I cannot express how much y’all help me.
I got a DVD from the local library on dealing with chronic pain. Going
to try following it’s recommendations- light excercise and meditation.

Yes, it’s wonderful to have all You out there!
Evenif one shows the information, people forget that we are in pain all the time. My old friends never remember that I cannot walk fast or do other things in normal tempo…
Here we all know what it is all about…
Ben take it easy with exercise…You are getting worse first and
all kind of ex. is not good for us.
I have been doing medicine Qi gong many years and it helps, but first one gets horrible pains. (when meridians activate)
It is also important to have a good teacher, because it hurts like …when You do it right, You don’t want to do it wrong 
I have meditated many years and it has helped me a lot.I teached meditation and affirmation and postitive thinking
They are good help, but do not take away the pain.
Qi gong lessens the pain, but one should start it we You have a better period;).
We should try make a “welcome to dercumworld kit” for
new patients.
