Spinal stenosis shortness of breath

Hi,
I am new to the group and have spinal stenosis/foraminal narrowing at four different levels. I just got a copy of my radiology report (from mri) and the word “severe” is in five different places. I would like to extend my greatest empathy to all fellow sufferers. I was wondering if anyone experiences shortness of breath and tightness in the chest with this condition? I’ve had my arteries checked out and all clear but I suffer from awful shortness of breath and chest tightness. It comes and goes but yesterday it was so bad I thought I was having a heart attack. Thanks.

I haven’t had that type problem. I’ve been diagnosed with stenosis and
herniated neck disc.

Hi,
I have not been online here at Careplace for a while so I am just now reading your post. If you have had your heart and lungs checked you may to address the stenosis. May I ask if you have been dx with stenosis in the Thorasic (sp) region? If so. when was the last time you had an MRI of that area?

I would see my neurologist and get it checked, just to be safe and talk to him/her.

Take Care,
Linda
