Has anyone had these?? I am so nervous. I am shceduled for Cleveland Clinic on 3 Aug for my first one. Need some reassurance.

Crystal,
Yes! I have had several stellate ganglion blocks and have been so thankful for each of them. I was nervous the first time, but excited and happy each and every time there after. I felt a little stiff for a couple of days afterward, from the injection of the numbing medicine, but then the pain was so decreased for 6 to 8 weeks, it was so worth it. I have had 11 SGB’s to date and 6 lumbar blocks and if I had any insurance or financial means to pay for some more, I would be getting them asap. I wish I could be there with you, I could explain each and every move before and during and you would not be so nervous, which your doc will do. I also got trigger point injections too, in my neck and shoulders, which probably added to the stiffness. Go for it Crystal! You will be glad you did. I will be thinking of you, and praying for you.
