Saying goodbye to someone who you love for the last time knowing this is it. Worst part you can see them again but not knowing for how long and not being able to handle it.

The idea of 700 billion $$$ going out and I can’t even get medical coverage!!! and yeah to the Paper work. On one piece of paper I had to figure out six different times how to tell them (EXCUSE the graphics on this) I can’t work be cause I s*#% 20 times a day. And then ask well how does that effect you working… hmmmm let’s think on that!!! how about I give you super laxitives for a month straight and see how your work life goes… and mine is for a life time. grrr and the comment you look fine. yeah if fine is the just how a person looks… try the stomach flu really bad combined with morning sickness and labor pains for a life time!!!

The people who yell about spending money on NASA/space exploration and say “Let’s spend the money here on Earth, not in space!” Where the heck do they think the money is being spent? We’re paying Martians and they’re sending the money home to Mars? The space program, ignoring all the technical/medical/everyday advances we take for granted now, has provided jobs for thousands upon thousands of families over the years – and that money has all been spent here on Earth, advancing knowledge, encouraging people to go to college and look to a brighter future, and generally making mankind better and the USA safer.
Hate to point out the obvious fear factor – but how would most Americans feel if the Communist Chinese had bases in space and on the moon (perhaps 15-20 years away) which would make all our military safeguards useless?
So many people think of “outer space” as science fiction – it’s not, it’s reality and we have to accept that we can’t huddle here with our hands over our eyes and pretend the universe doesn’t exist.
I’m sick of HAVING medical insurance, and not being able to go to the doctor or have test done cause I can’t afford to pay the damn 20% because of so MUCH testing and copays from the hospital that it adds up so fast that we are buried!!!
I pay the health insurance and work, and it stuns me how much I pay for my coverage at work a month, and then how little we receive in benefits, and that is for a PPO too!
It really sucks!
I am sick of being denied for SSI,heating assistance,food stamps,etc.
because my husband supposedly makes too much money.Honestly-how the hell can you
make it when you have car payments,car insurance(I live in New England which
has high rates for insurance-$2900/year for car insurance,and that’s the
cheapest around!!!),cooking/heating gas,electric,telephone,cell phone(which is NOT
a luxury believe me!),and never mind the cost of food…it is
sickening.And how much are we paying our congress-people to make decisions that are
supposed to benefit US???
And if I hear one more ‘public servant’ telling me that we don’t need two
cars,I’m going to tell them that the next time my kid is sick at school,THEY
can either pick him up or foot the bill for the cab.
