Is there a doctor who is currently doing research on the above disease in the New York area

Wasn’t there a doctor in the New York area trying injections to make them smaller? I know you had to pay the MRI bill and get yourself there. This was 2? years ago. I wonder what ever became of that, guessing nothing.
