Type 2 Study

Sometimes diet and lifestyle changes are not enough. Controlling diabetes is important to avoid future health complications. Insulin along with oral anti-diabetic treatments and a healthy lifestyle can help control blood sugar in type 2 diabetics. A clinical research study is being conducted in your area to compare the effectiveness of two forms of insulin – injected and inhaled – in controlling blood sugar levels when used with other diabetes treatments. Both insulin treatments have already been approved.

If you are between the ages of 30 and 75, on 2 or more oral diabetic agents and have been a non smoker for at least 6 months, you may qualify for this study.
