New to this group. A friend of mine has been diagnosed with GHD. She has United health insurance and they denied her claim to pay for the shots. Is there a solution to this? She took it for one month and noticed a difference, but cannot afford $500 every month for the shots.
if anyone has any info we also have UHC and just got denied

The doctor needs to file an appeal. Mine went all the way up the chain but
was approved once the chief medical officer was involved. Another option is
that drug manufacturers offer assistance for GH just goon the manufacturers web
site for the info…

I have UHC…Dr addressed this with UHC after I received denial. I agree with Tina, all the way.
With Dr working on your behalf, insurance will usually review the claim, and approve it. If not, by some weird chance, the manufacturer will usually work with you. If you follow their guidelines, you will most likely receive it at little or no cost to you. Good luck! linda
